Early Cuban document by which the Institute of Orthopedic Surgery is transferred under the umbrella of the University of Havana, with several articles regarding the disposition of its operation, personnel, and assets. Signed at the conclusion in ink by Prime Minister Fidel Castro, President Manuel Urrutia Lleó, and Minister of Works Rufo Lopez Fresquet; also initialed by Casto in the left margin of the first page. The blue seal and ribbon at the bottom remain fully intact. In fine condition, with filing and binding holes along the left edge.
