ALS in French, one page, 4.25 x 5.5, May 23, 1903. Untranslated handwritten letter by Claude Debussy, including a reference to "Pelléas"—his celebrated five-act opera, Pelléas et Mélisande. In fine condition. Pelleas et Melisande was an opera in five acts that Debussy adapted from Maurice Maeterlinck's Symbolist play of the same title.
