Small .25″ x .25″ swatch of sealing tape attested to as being removed from Gus Grissom’s Liberty Bell 7 spacecraft after it was recovered from the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean on July 20, 1999. The tape is affixed to a color 8.25 x 10.75 certificate of authenticity. Includes an original vintage glossy 8 x 10 NASA photo of Grissom being suited up before his historic Mercury-Redstone 4 mission (reverse bears NASA caption text). In fine condition.
