Three steins and mugs from the personal collection of Deke Slayton, including: an English-made Sheffield pewter stein featuring an Edwards Air Force Base emblem, engraved: "Flight Test Operations, Edwards AFB, 'Deke'"; a white ceramic mug featuring the Apollo-Soyuz logo on one side, with "Donald 'Deke' Slayton" emblazoned in gold on the other; and an impressive 1981 stein with raised depictions of the Space Shuttle in various configurations, marked on the bottom: "A handcrafted American Heritage Commemorative Stein, designed by Aladar Klubert, made by world famous Ceramarte in Brazil." In fine condition.
