NASA nurse Dee O'Hara's laminated badge issued as part of the "Flight Crew Health Stabilization Program" for Apollo 17, 2.5 x 3.75, signed on the reverse in black felt tip, "My badge, Dee O'Hara." In fine condition, with a light horizontal bend. O'Hara served as the official nurse to the Mercury Seven astronauts and their families, and went on to support the Gemini, Apollo, and Skylab programs. Her contributions laid the foundation for the field of space nursing.
