Flown flag featuring the logo of Space Shuttle Atlantis, 5.5 x 4, carried on the STS-44 mission from November 24-December 1, 1991. Affixed to its original oversized 24 x 20 presentation placard issued to the Hansen Engineering Company, a supplier of critical hardware for Rocketdyne's Space Shuttle Main Engine. Also affixed to the placard are an embroidered mission patch and copy of a letter from STS-44 Commander Fred Gregory, expressing the crew's gratitude to Hansen's employees for their support. In fine condition, with small dings and losses along the edges of the placard.
