Handwritten letter to the "Duc de Noailles," in part (translated): "Really, Monsieur le Duc, I am sorry for your trouble. Mad. de Ch., far from being better, suffers more, and I am so tired that I dare not, on leaving the room, lock myself in a chapel." Addressed on the integral leaf in Chateaubriand's hand. In fine condition, with a split to the hinge and some paper loss to the integral address leaf.
