Slight, sad-looking character actor (1935-1978) best known for his screen debut as Fredo, the weak-willed son of Don Corleone, in Francis Ford Coppola's classic The Godfather. Cazale holds a singular distinction in the annals of Hollywood history: all six films in which he appeared (including an archival appearance in The Godfather, Part III) were nominated for Academy Awards for Best Picture. Sought-after ink signature, "John Cazale,” on a peach-colored 5 x 3 index card. In very good to fine condition, with some light creasing and faint dampstaining. Encapsulated and graded by PSA/DNA as "MINT 9."
