Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Gene Vincent rocking a leather jacket and a greaser hairdo, signed and inscribed in red ballpoint, "To Trudy, regards, Gene Vincent.” The consignor notes that the signature was obtained backstage at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester, England, in the 1960s by Leicester Reporter journalist Bess Coleman, who gave had the photo inscribed for her younger sister, Trudy. Coleman later worked for the Brian Epstein company NEMS, toured the USA with the Beatles in 1966, and became editor of the American magazine Teen Life. In fine condition, with poor signature contrast against Vincent's dark jacket. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
