Two DSs, individually signed “Stan Laurel" and "Oliver Hardy,” both one page, 8.5 x 11, March 16, 1933, and issued to Hal Roach Studios. Both documents find Laurel and Hardy offering to cut half of their allotted tri-weekly salary between March 6 and 27, 1933, “In view of the fact that the present existing national emergency finds you in a position whereby it may be necessary for you to suspend operations.” Laurel agrees to decrease his check from $3000 to $1500 and Hardy agrees to lower his from $2000 to $1000. Signed by the comedians at the bottom of their respective documents. In overall fine condition.
