Two items: a TLS, signed “Jimmy,” one page, 6.5 x 8.5, personal letterhead, addressed to Ken Browne, in full: “Thank you for your thoughtful letter. Rosalynn and I are grateful for the many blessings in our lives, especially good friends like you,” with Carter adding in his own hand below: “We’ve appreciated your letters”; and a color satin-finish 8 x 10 photo of Carter flashing a bright smile, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “Best wishes to Oralando Ziraldi, Jimmy Carter.” The reverse of the photo bears an official White House stamp dated July 31, 1979. In overall very good to fine condition, with light creasing to the photo.
