Mailing envelope hand-addressed by Paul von Hindenburg, 6 x 5, addressed to his wife from the front lines of World War I and incorporating his surname, "von Hindenburg," within the Baden-Baden address. Reverse retains the impressive black wax seal. The philatelically important piece boasts an affixed "Deutsche Feldpost 344" stamp and multiple postmarks. In fine condition.
