The front, inscribed, "XXIe Olympiade Montreal 1976," features a 'Seated Victory' with the Coliseum in the background; the reverse features the Montreal Olympic emblem and victor's laurel wreath. The edge, which would normally feature the engraved name of the event, remains blank, and its chain is missing. A desirable third-place prize medal from the first Canadian Olympiad.
