German pianist, composer, and conductor (1862-1914) remembered as a pupil of Franz Liszt. AMQS signed "Bernhard Stavenhagen," one page, 6 x 7.25, dated 1892. Stavenhagen pens a line from a work by his mentor, Franz Liszt, mimicking his signature below. Ornately double-matted and framed with a portrait of the two together to an overall size of 18.5 x 14.5. In very good to fine condition, with uniform toning and a light central crease.
