American cartoonist (born 1930) best known for his drawings for The New Yorker. Original sketch by Gahan Wilson of a large friendly bat flying in front of the moon and stars, accomplished in ink on an off-white 8.5 x 8 sheet, signed and inscribed below, "All Best Wishes to the Norwine Family, Gahan Wilson." In very good to fine condition, with light creasing to the lower right. Encapsulated and graded by PSA/DNA as "MINT 9."
