Kardadouris and edited by Charles Beck of Athens and H. Le Soudier of Paris, the two-volume report has been custom-bound into a single book using the original lithograph cardboard covers, 10.5 x 13, with the first volume (101 pages) entitled “Part One, The Olympic Games In Antiquity,” and the second volume (109 pages) entitled “Part Two, The 1896 Olympic Games.” The volumes contain numerous pictures and illustrations to support the ample information on both the ancient Olympic Games and the historic 1896 Olympiad. In overall good to good condition, with noticeable scuffing, edgewear, and staining to covers, and numerous marginal tears to pages (as well as a few larger tears), but textblock otherwise clean.
