Sought-after original color 21.75 x 40.25 poster for the Tokyo 1964 Summer Olympics, featuring the bright red 'rising sun' emblem of the Games over golden Olympic rings and block-letter text: "Tokyo 1964." Printed in tiny lettering in the upper left corner: "design: yusaku kamekura / printed in japan / toppan printing co., ltd." Rolled and in very good condition, with edgewear, scattered creases, a closed tear to top edge, and tack holes to corners. The poster's designer, Yusaku Kamekura, was a leading figure in post-World War II Japanese graphic design.
