Greeting card with the front featuring the logo of the Lake Placid 1980 Winter Olympics, measures 10 x 7 open, signed inside in black ballpoint by two gold medal-winning American athletes: Jack Shea, who became the first American to win two gold medals at one Winter Olympics when he placed first in the 500-meter and 1500-meter events at the Lake Placid 1932 Winter Olympics; and Jim Craig, the goaltender for the Team USA men’s hockey team that won the gold medal at the 1980 Winter Games. Craig had a standout Olympic tournament, including stopping 36 of 39 shots on goal by the heavily favored Soviet Union in the 'Miracle on Ice,’ as the U.S. won 4-3, in what is widely considered one of the greatest upsets in sports history. In fine condition, with a light stain to the front cover.
