He also held a number of other cabinet posts, including Home Secretary and Chancellor of the Exchequer. Impressive vellum manuscript DS, signed as 2nd Earl of Guilford, “Guilford,” one page, 23.5 x 17.25, May 4, 1791. Indenture made between Frederick Lord North and his wife, Anne Speke, and Robert Slattery. Signed on the lower panel by the Earl of Guilford and Lady Guilford, next to their red wax seals. In fine condition, with intersecting folds.
