Railroad industrialist (1821-1900) known as one of the 'Big Four' of western railroading. Partly-printed DS, signed “C. P. Huntington,” one page, 11.5 x 15.5, September 26, 1889. Stock certificate issued to "C. P. Huntington" for 100 shares of capital stock in the Newport News and Mississippi Valley Company, signed at the conclusion by Huntington as the company's president. Twenty canceled dividend coupons are attached to the bottom of the certificate. In fine condition.
