Well-composed vintage matte-finish 7.25 x 9.25 photo of the Atlas Shrugged author posing in a city window, signed and inscribed in white ink, "To Karen Torgaud—Cordially—Ayn Rand, 12/16/64.” Nicely quadruple-matted and framed to an overall size of 15.25 x 17.25. In very good to fine condition, with some fading to the signature and several creases, one of which passes through her last name. A scarce and outstanding portrait of the Objectivist writer, who is extremely rare in the format—this is just the second Ayn Rand autographed photograph that we have offered.
