Fantastic official color 7.5 x 9.5 NASA lithograph of Parker in his white space suit, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, "To Otto Berg, May a 5.39x10-13 ton meteorite nearly pulverize your LEAM! Best regards and good luck, Bob Parker.” Matted to an overall size of 10.75 x 13.75. In fine condition. Parker was selected as a scientist-astronaut by NASA in August 1967, served on the Astronaut Support Crews for the Apollo 15 and 17 missions, and went on to fly on the Space Shuttle for missions STS-9 and STS-35. Here, he signs with a fantastic inscription referencing the Lunar Ejecta and Meteorites (LEAM) experiment that Berg developed to be deployed on Apollo 17.
From the collection of Dr. Otto Berg.
