Description

Collection of six spare name tags and Russian flag patches designed for crew members of the Soyuz MS-19 mission, which launched on October 5, 2021, marking the 147th flight of a crewed Soyuz spacecraft. The name tags were made for Commander Anton Shkaplerov, actress Yulia Peresild, and film director Klim Shipenko, the latter two being deemed flight engineers/space participants. Each embroidered name tag measures 4.5″ x 1.75″ and features the cosmonaut’s name in English and Cyrillic in beautiful gold thread, and the three Russian shoulder patches each measure 3.5″ x 2.25″; the reverse of each name tag and patch features male hoop Velcro. Includes three glossy photos of the crew wearing similar name tags and patches during the mission. In overall fine condition.

Russian film director Klim Shipenko and actress Yulia Peresild spent about twelve days on board the International Space Station to shoot the film 'Vyzov' [The Challenge], which will be the first feature-length fiction film to be filmed in space by professional filmmakers. Shipenko shot about 30 hours of material (30-40 minutes of film) on the ISS, as well as taking on the positions of director, operator, art director, and makeup artist. Of all the footage filmed in space, about 30% was filmed in the Nauka module, another third was filmed in the Zvezda module, and the remaining 30% was shot on the rest of the ISS modules.
