(Walt Disney Studios, 1934) Original production drawing of Mickey Mouse from Two-Gun Mickey, depicting the heroic gunslinging cowboy hanging from the root of a cactus towards the end of the short. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on animation paper, with the image measuring 2.5 x 5.5. Nicely matted and framed to an overall size of 14.25 x 18.25. In fine condition. The first cartoon directed by Ben Sharpsteen, who had joined the studio in 1929, Two-Gun Mickey is remembered as being one of the more action-packed early Mickey adventures.
