Papers pertaining to the frequency spectrum from the collection of Luther Monell, a senior engineer for Saturn S-II test and operation at North American Aviation. Includes his 14-page report on the frequency spectrum, offering an accessible discussion of electromagnetic waves; two copies of a fold-out "Frequency Spectrum" chart that he developed; a handwritten list of the frequencies used by the Apollo Saturn V for reception and transmission; two glossy 10 x 8 photos of Monell with a frequency spectrum exhibition that he built at the California Museum of Science & Technology; several pages of correspondence from people at noteworthy organizations—including the Defense Intelligence Agency, RCA, General Electric, General Dynamics, Allen-Bradley, Aerojet-General, Sanders, Bendix, Emerson, TRW, and Raytheon—most asking for copies of his frequency spectrum chart; and five space-related booklets. In overall fine condition.
