Original patent lithographs and specification sheet for Charles A. Simmons' "Aeroplane," five pages, 7.75 x 11.5, patented July 8, 1919. The diagrams show two views of the airplane itself—"a flying machine of the monoplane type"—plus additional figures of the automatic control. The specification sheet describes the invention in detail, relating to "flying machines of the type designed chiefly for warfare." In fine condition.
