Rare U.S. promotional first pressing of Led Zeppelin’s untitled fourth studio album, commonly known as Led Zeppelin IV (Atlantic Records, SD 7208, Stereo), with the front cover bearing two affixed “Promotional Copy, Not For Sale” labels as well as a black ‘hype’ label listing the album’s song titles. The white side one and side two labels are marked “Sample Copy, Not For Sale,” with the lower portion reading “Mfg. by Atlantic Recording Group., 1841 Broadway, New York, N.Y.” The matrix and runout numbers to both sides read, in part: "Pelko, ST-A-712285-DD…16345…(6) PR” and “ST-A-712286-FF, Pecko Duck…16345-X, PR, (8).” In fine condition, with some edgewear. The record is included. A very rare promo copy of the stunning fourth LP by the British greats, featuring the classics ‘Stairway to Heaven,’ ‘Black Dog,’ ‘Rock and Roll,’ and ‘When the Levee Breaks.’
