Description

From the collection of longtime IOC member James Worrall—three badges for the Pan American Games and the Central American and Caribbean Games:

A plastic badge for the 5th Pan American Games, which were held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, from July 23 to August 6, 1967. The badge measures 64 mm x 57 mm, with an affixed label for “J. Worrall.” The white ribbon, 83 mm, is marked as “IOC.”

A gold-tone badge for the 11th Central American and Caribbean Games, which were held in Panama City from February 28 to March 13, 1970. The badge, 38 mm x 32 mm, 17 gm, features the event logo in raised lettering, with a blue-and-white ribbon extending another 64 mm and terminating with a small plaque marked “Invitados de Honor.” Includes its original case.

A gold-tone badge for the 6th Pan American Games, which were held in Cali, Colombia, from July 30 to August 13, 1971. The badge, 38 mm x 51 mm, 37 gm, features a torch to center with surrounding text and a lower tablet marked: “Dignatario.” A 64 mm-long white ribbon below features an affixed logo pin. Includes its original case. In overall fine condition, with some wear and marks to the cases.
