From the personal collection of longtime IOC member James Worrall—an official Imperta field hockey ball signed in blue ink by the entire Pakistan field hockey team that competed at the London 1948 Summer Olympics. Following the passage of the Independence Act by the British in 1947, Pakistan became its own dominion and competed in the Summer Olympic Games for the first time at the XIV Olympiad. Includes a second ball signed by one member of the team. In very good to fine condition, with splitting to the balls, light soiling, and some signatures faded and hard to decipher.
From the estate of James Worrall.
