Desirably signed and inscribed on the first free end page in black felt tip, "For Matt Stiller—Best wishes again, from, Stephen Sondheim, 9/28/90," and in blue ink, "Hirschfeld," who provides the book's frontispiece illustration. Moreover, Sondheim has added three bars of music from the song 'Pretty Lady,' writing the tempo above, "Andantino," and some lyrics below, "Pret-ty la-dy in the pret-ty gar-den, can't-cher stay?…" In fine condition. A unique item signed by two masters of their respective art form.
