American architect (1906-2005) who is best known for his works of modern architecture, including the Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut, and his works of postmodern architecture; in 1978, he was awarded an American Institute of Architects Gold Medal, and in 1979, the first Pritzker Architecture Prize. Matte-finish 8 x 10 head-and-shoulders portrait of the visionary architect, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, and dated 1991. Reverse bears a Luca Vignelli credit stamp. In fine condition, with rippling along the side edges.
