Original vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of the Rolling Stones in New York during their first tour of the United States in 1964. This original hand-printed photograph by William ‘Popsie’ Randolph was made from the original negative and printed around the time the photograph was taken. Reverse bears a 'PoPsie' photographer's credit stamp. In fine condition, with a light crease to the upper left corner. Popsie Randolph was a notable New York photographer from the 1940s through 1970s who covered not only music legends, but also politicians, movie stars, and athletes. His work was the subject of a recent book by Michael Randolph and has been exhibited at the Smithsonian, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Grammy Museum.
