Beautiful original semi-glossy 11 x 14 silver gelatin photo of Madonna taken by Herb Ritts and used in the production of the tour program for Madonna’s 1987 Who’s That Girl Tour. The photo, which depicts Madonna leaning against a window and wearing a short belted black dress in a striking three-quarter-length pose, bears a small sticker to the upper margin marked “A-9, 34,” and the reverse is numbered in pencil, “2543.” In fine condition, with scattered small creases, primarily to the corners. The Who’s That Girl Tour was Madonna’s second concert tour and was in support of both her landmark third studio album, True Blue, and the soundtrack to the 1987 comedy Who’s That Girl.
Accompanied by images of this photo as it was pictured in the final tour program and by a letter of authenticity from Recordmecca's Jeff Gold: "I am a former Executive Vice President / General Manager of Madonna's label, Warner Bros. Records, and obtained this photograph from a former co-worker who worked with Madonna."
