ALS signed “Larry, U2,” penned on the reverse of a color glossy 8.25 x 3.5 postcard of the Holiday Inn in Grand Rapids, Michigan, postmarked on December 6, 1981, when the band were in Grand Rapids to perform a small gig at Dooley’s in East Lancing, Michigan, as part of their October tour. Brief handwritten letter to Alex Burk of HMV Records, in full: "How are you! Sorry about the delay in writing to you. As you know we're in the states at the moment. Tour is going really well, see ya!" In fine condition, with one unobtrusive tack hole in a blank area. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
