Sent from Eric’s childhood home at “1 The Green, Ripley, Surrey,” a handwritten letter to Doreen, in full: “Thank you for your letter. I looked for you last night, but did not see you. It was so terribly crowded wasn’t it. I met Georgio & lots of other people I know but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack to try & find anyone. I thought the Cream were fantastic, I enjoyed Eric’s singing. Yes the L.P is great & its doing well in the charts. Thank you for the nice card you sent me, do hope you enjoyed your holiday. We are going away this Saturday for a week, only going to Coombs Martin, but hope this lovely weather lasts. Bye for now.” In fine condition.
