Description

Revolutionary War general and, later, treasurer of Connecticut (1743-1818). Choice partly-printed DS, signed “Jed. Huntington,” one page, 7 x 3, February 14, 1789. State of Connecticut financial receipt, in part: "Received of Oliver Wolcott, Comptroller of the Public Accounts, Eight Pounds nineteen shillings and six pence Lawful Money, in 6 Certificates; being for the Interest on 5 State Notes, amounting to £149.12.0." In very fine condition.
