Official letter from the Minister of General Police of the Republic to the Prefect of the Department of Lys, in full (translated): “I forward to you Citizen Prefect a true copy of the 8th decree of the 15th of this month to the effect that the names of Larimer, Francoise; Launsau; More, Marie; More, Claire; Nomir, Marie; Gaston, Henriette; Paterson, Anne; & Plassiden, Barbara; are definitively struck from the list of emigrants: you will have this transcribed onto the Register of your prefecture, you will insure that you conform to the provisions prescribed by articles 17, 18 & 21 of the decree of the Consul of 28 Vendemiaire year 9.” Signed at the conclusion by Joseph Fouche as Minister of Police.
