Vintage ballpoint signatures of the Beatles—John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr—on individual off-white slips ranging in size from 2.5 x 1.25 to 3 x 1.5. The autographs are mounted, matted, and framed with a signature of David Jacobs, the presenter of the BBC Television show Juke Box Jury, a photo of the band with Jacobs, and a provenance caption sheet to an overall size of 21 x 17; the caption sheet reads: “On 7 December 1963 it was intended that the Beatles would form the complete panel for Juke Box Jury and then give a half-hour concert programme in Liverpool called ‘It’s the Beatles.’ The intention was to use the Odeon Cinema in London Road, but fearing trouble from the Beatle fans, the cinema’s management backed out at the last minute and the venue was switched to the Liverpool Empire. The autographs were obtained during an after show dinner at Liverpool Town Hall.” In very good to fine condition, with light creasing and soiling to each slip.
