Spiral-bound report entitled "Saturn S-IV-5 Preliminary Flight Report Model DSV-4" prepared by the Douglas Aircraft Company's Missile & Space Systems Division, 100 pages, 9 x 11, dated February 1964. The report presents "an analysis of the pre-launch countdown, launch, and flight of the Douglas Missile and Space Systems' S-IV-5 stage, the second stage of the Saturn SA-5 vehicle." It covers the vehicle configuration, countdown, trajectory, and major subsystems of the stage, including flight control, hydraulics, engine, and electrical systems. Several fold-out graphs are contained in the rear of the volume. In very good to fine condition, with a few loose pages depicting Saturn liftoffs and the front cover annotated in red ink to note its declassification.
