Desirable five-ounce proof silver dollar issued by the United States Mint in 2019 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, housed in its original case and box. The unusual 3″-diameter coin has a curved shape, with one side featuring a representation of the famous 'visor shot' of Buzz Aldrin on the lunar surface, and the other portraying Neil Armstrong's historic first bootprint. In fine condition.
From the collection of Apollo 15 CMP Al Worden, and accompanied by a letter of provenance from his daughter Alison (Worden) Penczak.
