The Laurel & Hardy director inscribes an oversized portrait to Clara Bow

Hollywood film director, writer, producer, and actor (1897-1952) who directed the original Gentlemen Prefer Blondes in 1928, and most of Laurel & Hardy's later films at 20th Century Fox. Vintage sepia matte-finish 11 x 14 photo of St. Clair in a half-length pose, signed and inscribed in green fountain pen, "To my blind bow love, Mally, 1928," drawing a sketch of "Ducky" in the upper right corner. In fine condition, with some smudging to ink.
