President of South Vietnam (1923-2001) who resigned and fled the country only a few days before the fall of Saigon. Felt tip signature of Nguyen Van Thieu on a 4.75 x 3 card embossed with his title and seal. In very fine condition, with a JSA label affixed to the lower right. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from JSA, as well as the original mailing envelope and a transmittal letter from his office, dated April 28, 1971.
