The set includes all of Shakespeare's plays as well as his poems and sonnets, with each volume measuring 6.5 x 9.5 and containing beautifully illustrated hand-colored frontispieces and numerous plates in each volume. Edited by Reverend Alexander Dyce, with his "Life of the Poet," explanatory notes, and glossary. Includes some of the introductions from important earlier editors of Shakespeare's works. In overall very good to fine condition, with rubbing and edgwear.
