Johnson," one page, 8 x 10.5, United States Senate letterhead, July 9, 1957, in part: "I am sending you under separate cover—simply because I would like you to have it—a copy of the book about me that was published last year. I hope you will accept this with my compliments and that it will be of some value to you as reference material from time to time." Book condition: VG/VG, with light mottled toning to the signed page, a ding to the bottom of the front board, and a few small edge tears and light foxing to the jacket; the letter is in very good to fine condition, with scattered light foxing and staining.
