Character actor (1877-1936) who portrayed the kindly blind hermit in The Bride of Frankenstein. Rare vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of O. P. Heggie as King Louis XI for the 1930 film The Vagabond King, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Fred Foster, Sincerely, O. P. Heggie, 1929.” In fine condition. Heggie remains very scarce in signed photographs, this being our first in over 17 years.
