ANS signed "S.T.A.," one page, 5 x 8, no date. In full: "Art—I hope I'm not unduly sensitive (probably I am ) but it occurred to me that no formal resolution of the Md senate in any way acknowledges that I am the first Marylander to become V. P. of the U. S. It is unusual that the only recognition I have received is a 'good natured?' spoof on a point of personal embarrassment. Where are the G.O.P. stalwarts?" In fine condition. Accompanied by Maryland State Resolution No. 52, referenced by Agnew in his note, which poked fun at his poor golf play and propensity for hitting spectators with his drives; also includes some internal memoranda from the office of the vice president (evidently debating whether or not to show him said resolution), and an envelope addressed to Agnew at the White House.
