King of Prussia (born 1795) who reigned from 1840 until his death in 1861. He was known as the 'romanticist on the throne,' and is best remembered for the many buildings he had constructed in Berlin and Potsdam, as well as for the completion of the Gothic Cologne Cathedral. Four DSs in German, with one signed "Frederick William" and three signed "FWR," each one page, 8.5 x 10.25, dated from 1849 to 1851. All untranslated. In overall fine condition, with blocks of toning to the fully signed document.
