LS in German, signed “Friderick R,” one page both sides, 7.75 x 12.5, September 3, 1764. Untranslated official letter to Christopher Wilhelm Dreyer at St. Petersburg, signed at the conclusion by King Frederick V of Denmark and countersigned by the Danish statesman Count Johann Hartwig Ernst von Bernstorff. The paper seal affixed at the conclusion remains intact. In fine condition, with light overall wrinkling and a few small stains. Accompanied by four unsigned engraved portraits.
