The 1936 Howitzer yearbook for the United States Military Academy at West Point, 455 pages, 9.5 x 12.5, signed on the front cover in black felt tip, “W. C. Westmoreland, ‘36,” and on his biography page in black ink, “William P. Yarborough, Lt. Gen US Army (Ret).” Also signed on his biography page by US Army General Bruce Palmer, Jr., who commanded the XVIII Airborne Corps during Operation Power Pack, the II Field Force, Vietnam during the Vietnam War, and was acting Chief of Staff of the United States Army from July to October 1972. A gold wire bullion patch is affixed to the half-title page. Also includes a United States Military Academy article request sheet, signed in blue felt tip, “To the class of 1936, W. C. Westmoreland.” In overall fine condition, with overall wear to yearbook, including staining and surafce tears to opening pages.
