Texas ranger (1884-1955) best known for tracking down legendary crime duo Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow and for leading the ambush that killed the pair in a hail of gunfire near Gibsland, Louisiana on May 23, 1934. Personal check, 7.25 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Hamer, "Frank A. Hamer," payable to Texas Employment Commission for $35.95, January 28, 1950. In fine condition. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder, grading the autograph as "NM 7.”
